On this week’s episode, we bring you the remarkable story of Matthew Zachary. In 1995, Matthew was a music major, in his senior year of college at Binghamton University when he started having symptoms that affected his playing of the piano. After eliminating possible causes, doctors diagnosed him with a malignant brain tumor. Matthew takes us along for a ride on his journey and battle with cancer, giving us an insiders perspective of the emotional rollercoaster it causes. All of Matthew’s life plans had to be put on hold, expressing that when cancer calls everything else is secondary. As we head into this week of Thanksgiving, it’s a literal reminder to be thankful for our health, for our loved ones and for all those who have gone before us, young and old, but left us with lessons of strength and hope.
