Welcome to episode 123 of American Real where this week we talk baseball and the art of broadcasting with this week’s guest, Jacob Wilkins. Jacob is currently the lead broadcaster for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the New York Mets double-a affiliate. Previously, Jacob worked in the Big Apple where he anchored reports for WFAN, CBS Sports Radio, and Sirius XM Radio, along with broadcasting games for LIU Brooklyn. While at the FAN, Jacob filled in to host the Yankees Postgame Show, along with contributing to the station’s coverage of the NY Giants, NJ Devils, and Brooklyn Nets. I’m glad we caught up with Jacob who shared his personal playbook, because there’s no doubt he’ll one day end up in the Bigs.
